Placement Consultant     
Malden, MA

Job Status:  Full-Time

Summary:
Work ethically in a team environment to identify client opportunities and place permanent healthcare professionals at all levels of the industry, including  Registered Nurses and Allied Health staff,  at management and director levels.   Provide assistance to both clients and candidates on all employment related issues.   

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all recruitment and selection  aspects of the permanent placement candidate supply
  • Manage the total recruitment process from initial sales calls, recruiting applications, candidate profiling and interviewing, and credentialing
  • Recruit candidate supply through cold calling, referrals, Internet and marketing
  • Handle entire placement process – prepare introduction packages, submit resumes, facilitate interviews, perform reference checks, negotiate compensation,  prepare contracts, and update internal database
  • Identify staffing needs/job orders through creative means – cold calling, magazine ads, Internet, etc.
  • Serve as an account manager for established clients, updating them on the status of their open job orders, checking up on placements, reviewing open job orders, etc.
  • Develop strong, focused database to compliment marketing efforts of other Placement Consultants

Preferred knowledge, skills, abilities, and education :

  • Associate’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years related experience or equivalent
  • Previous recruitment experience is preferred
  • Solid working knowledge and proficiency in MS Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,  and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior grammar and proofreading skills
  • Demonstrated  history of achievement relative to telephone selling and closing skills
  • Ideal candidates will be self motivated, goal oriented, detailed, focused, and ethical, willing to assist and fill in as needed
  • The ability to manage conflicting priorities, and work with minimum supervision.
  • Proactively work in a team environment with a sense of urgency completing tasks on deadline
  • Demonstrate a professional, supportive and adaptable demeanor while interacting with teammates, clients, candidates and vendors
